Will it slow down my site?
No. The full plugin ships at under 360 KB, uses vanilla JavaScript (no React, no jQuery dependency), and lazy-loads non-critical assets. ReadKit is designed to be Lighthouse-friendly and works with caching plugins (LiteSpeed, WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache) and full-page CDN caching.
If you measure your Lighthouse score before and after installing, you should see no meaningful difference.
Does it work with my theme?
Yes. ReadKit is theme-agnostic. We’ve tested it specifically with Astra, Kadence, GeneratePress, Blocksy, Hello Elementor, Twenty Twenty-Four, and most major block themes. It also works with page builders like Elementor and Bricks.
The plugin only renders on post types you enable in settings (default: only “post”), so it never interferes with pages, products, or custom post types you don’t want it on.

Do you collect visitor data?
No, not by default. Visitor analytics are off out of the box — you have to explicitly enable them in settings. When enabled, we hash IP addresses (never store raw) and use cookies only for the A/B test variant assignment.
The AI features (Pro) require explicit opt-in twice — once as a feature toggle, once as a consent acknowledgment — and only fire when an admin clicks “Generate.”
